Following years of continuous and steady efforts to improve the experience for our customers, I’m excited to announce that Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan has been honored with the J.D. Power award for “Highest Member Satisfaction among Commercial Health Plans in Michigan” in 2018. The J.D. Power Award is given to the Michigan health plan that ranks first overall in J.D. Power’s 2018 Commercial Member Health Plan study. The steady improvement and top honor are the result of our dedication to our members and companywide efforts to be customer-centric, delivering an easy, useful and enjoyable experience to our members. The award-winning Blue Cross Mobile App*, a completely revamped explanation of benefits statement, overall Clear & Simple® language and interactions with members are some of the efforts that have contributed to our improvements over time. This award is a great indication of our efforts, and we appreciate our customers recognizing us. But it doesn’t stop here. Blue Cross will continue working diligently to keep the improvements coming.
