You’re Invited: New and Expectant Moms Health Fair and Baby Shower

Motherhood is a one-of-a-kind experience that can be exciting but also overwhelming. That’s why Blue Cross Complete is supporting new and expectant moms with two community baby showers. Located in Detroit and Lansing, respectively, visitors will find valuable resources to help accommodate their growing families.
- What is it? Blue Cross Complete of Michigan’s Health Fair and Baby Shower
- Who’s invited? New moms, moms-to-be and children
- When is it? Friday, April 12, from 10 AM to 1 PM
- Where? The Northwest Activities Center, 18100 Meyers Road, Detroit, MI 48235
Attendees will learn about prenatal care, healthy eating, breastfeeding, and more. They’ll also be able to enter and win giveaways for baby essentials like car seats, strollers and gift baskets filled with goodies for mom and baby. Guests will be treated to a cooking demonstration on creating healthy lunches and after-school snacks that are delicious and affordable. Plus, all moms will receive a special gift just for attending.

- When is it? Sunday, April 14, from 11 AM to 3 PM
- Where? The Lansing Center, 333 E. Michigan Ave. Lansing, MI 48933
The Greater Lansing Baby Fair will connect moms with pediatricians, midwives, doctors, dentists, lactation consultants, preschool teachers, nutritionists, and more. Visitors can expect more than 150 exhibitors with products and services tailored to their needs. There will also be the Blue Cross Complete Healthy Habits Lounge where moms can learn how to keep their families healthy from babyhood to beyond. But that’s not all. The first 250 families will receive a complimentary swag bag filled with samples and special offers from participating vendors.
