DETROIT, Jan. 2, 2025 — Have you ever wondered what it’s like to be a Detroit Piston? Michigan kids ages 7-12 have the chance to find out by entering the sixth annual #MIKidsCan Detroit Pistons Kids Day Sweepstakes to win an opportunity to go behind the scenes of a Pistons game day. The Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan and Detroit Pistons #MIKidsCan Pistons Kids Day Sweepstakes offers kids an opportunity to get an in-depth look into various roles and responsibilities and experience working with a staff member for the day. Thirty kids will be selected to participate in Kids Day at the Feb. 2, 2025, Pistons game against the Chicago Bulls.
Parents can enter their children in the #MIKidsCan Pistons Kids Day Sweepstakes now through January 22 at nba.com/pistons/pistons-kids-day. Each winner will receive a co-branded Kids Day t-shirt, participate in a pre-game event at Little Caesars Arena with lunch, a Hooper mascot meet-and-greet and receive four complimentary game tickets for their family. Various kids’ activities and giveaways will take place throughout the day and during the game.
“Encouraging children to build healthy habits, like eating nutritious foods and being active for at least 60 minutes a day, is extremely important to us at Blue Cross," said Andrew Hetzel, vice president of Corporate Communications at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. "We understand the significance of enjoyable, unforgettable experiences in nurturing a child's growth, and this collaboration with the Detroit Pistons provides just that. This exclusive program will bring excitement to 30 lucky Michigan families for the sixth year in a row."
