The Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan and Detroit Pistons sweepstakes offers kids a once-in-a-lifetime chance to get an in-depth look into various Pistons team roles and responsibilities and experience working with a staff member for the day. Thirty kids will be selected to participate in Kids Day at the Jan. 25, 2026 Pistons game against the Sacramento Kings.
Parents can enter their children in the #MIKidsCan Pistons Kids Day Sweepstakes now through Jan. 9, 2026 at nba.com/pistons/pistons-kids-day. Each winner will receive and experience a co-branded Kids Day t-shirt and swag bag, participate in a pre-game event at Little Caesars Arena with lunch, a Hooper mascot meet-and-greet, a tour of Little Caesars Arena, a post-game free throw shot and photo opportunity and receive four complimentary game tickets for their family. Various kids’ activities and giveaways will take place throughout the day and during the game.
“Blue Cross is thrilled to partner with the Detroit Pistons to offer this incredible opportunity to young fans for the seventh year in a row,” said Andrew Hetzel, vice president of Corporate Communications at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. “Pistons Kids Day aligns with our ongoing efforts to encourage Michigan children to stay active and build lifelong healthy habits. When children adopt healthy routines, they lead healthier lives as they grow and are less likely to experience chronic illnesses as adults. This helps lower long-term health care costs and makes it more affordable for everyone.”
Pistons Kids Day supports Blue Cross’ ongoing commitment to children’s health through its #MIKidsCan campaign and partnership with the Detroit Pistons with initiatives focused on encouraging kids to adopt healthy habits and get active for at least 60 minutes every day. Over the last 17 years, Blue Cross has provided more than $13 million to support kids’ health and wellness initiatives across the state, reaching 615,000 children in more than 1,400 Michigan schools.
