Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan Ranked No. 1 in Customer Satisfaction among Medicare Advantage Plans in Michigan for 2025 by J.D. Power

DETROIT, August 19, 2025—Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan was recognized today by J.D. Power as No. 1 in customer satisfaction among Medicare Advantage (MA) plans in Michigan.
The J.D. Power Award is given to the MA plan that ranks first overall in their region in the J.D. Power 2025 U.S. Medicare Advantage StudySM. The U.S. Medicare Advantage Study benchmarks MA member experiences with MA health insurance plans. This annual syndicated study examines the full experience of MA health plan members and is designed to provide MA health plans with information that can add focus and clarity to the factors contributing to the MA member experience.
Earlier this year, BCBSM’s commercial plan earned the No. 1 ranking from J.D. Power for the third time in four years, placing first in seven of eight measurement categories.

J.D. Power’s annual study is comprised of eight study categories. Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan Medicare Advantage is the highest in five of the eight categories including:
- Ease – Ease of doing business
- Cost – Helps save time or money
- Problem Resolution – Resolving problems or complaints
- Coverage – Product coverage offerings meet my needs
- Access – Members are able to obtain health services how and when they want
