Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan is partnering with the University of Michigan men's basketball program for seniors night and the team’s last home game Sunday, March 8 at 6 p.m. BCBSM will support U of M by distributing 13,000 cheer cards that read, “Go Blue/We Work”. Crisler Arena will be filled with the maze and blue cheer cards that root on the Wolverines and encourage the seniors who are only a few months away from graduation. The cheer cards contain valuable information about health care reform, deadlines for 2014 enrollment and useful material on the importance of health insurance. BCBSM is committed to educating young people on benefits of getting health coverage and the possible financial repercussions of going without coverage. Experts from BCBSM’s Individual Business Unit will be answering questions about health care reform and providing information about the deadlines for enrollment for 2014 coverage. March 15 is the last day for individuals to enroll in coverage to have an April 1 effective date. People who enroll after March 15 will have to wait until May 1 for coverage. March 31 is the last day to enroll for coverage in May. Photo credit: Corey Seeman
