We serve more than 5 million members in 50 states and received the J.D. Power Award for 2022 as the top commercial health plan in Michigan for member satisfaction. In a challenging economy, we maintained a strong financial position that was recognized for the fourth consecutive year by AM Best, a nationally recognized ratings agency.
Our enterprise also continues to successfully diversify outside of health care coverage; this contributes to our financial strength and allows us to enhance our partnerships and investments in ways that help keep health care affordable for our members.
Year after year, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan thrives because we stay true to our mission as a nonprofit mutual that is committed to being a trusted partner to our members by providing affordable, innovative products that improve their care and health. At the same time, we never lose sight of the significance of our role as a trusted corporate citizen and community partner of choice.
